Are you looking for an easy, last-minute appetizer – that’s kinda fancy and all-the-way delicious? These mini caprese bites are exactly what you’re looking for! No cooking required, fast and easy to assemble!
Mini Caprese Bites to the Rescue
If you’ve been around here any length of time, you might have guessed that I’m a fan of a good hack. I don’t mind being in the kitchen, but I wouldn’t say that’s where I’m naturally talented. If that’s you as well, you’re in the right place, sister! It doesn’t mean we can’t create an amazing dish for a party. Presentation really is about half the battle. And these cute caprese bites don’t disappoint. They present as an elegant and fancy appetizer, which you can serve in just about any situation that calls for a finger food or bite sized snack.
Ingredients
For this simple recipe, all you need is the following:
8 oz. Mozzarella pearls 1 Pint Grape or cherry tomatoes Fresh basil Balsamic dressing or glaze You will also need: Plastic Shot Cups Toothpicks 
Instructions
1|Layer those items on toothpicks in this order: cheese ball, basil leaf (facing down), grape tomato, cheese ball. 2| Place in plastic shot cup (these were from Dollar Tree – 24 count for $1.25) 3| Drizzle with balsamic glaze or dressing. Super easy, and always, always, an absolute hit.

Mini Caprese Bites
A tasty individual appetizer that guests pop in their mouths all party long!
Ingredients
- 8 oz. package of mozzarella cheese pearls
- 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes
- Fresh basil
- Balsamic glaze or dressing
Instructions
- On a toothpick, assemble items in this order: mozzarella pearl, basil leaf (facing down), tomato, mozzarella cheese ball.
- Place in shot cup
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze or dressing.
- Assemble on plate and serve!
