If You’re Gonna Gift a Gift, Make It Meaningful

We aren’t huge gift-givers in my family. We’ve all sort of given a pass on the obligatory gifts, but when a gift is given, it’s meaningful and purposeful.  And to be honest, I prefer it that way.  Never expected, never obligatory – but it means something special.

If you’re gonna give a gift, let it mean something, I say. My first go-to is typically Etsy for unique gifts, but that can often be overwhelming if you aren’t sure where to start or don’t have some ideas already.

That’s why I created this guide – to give you a jumping-off point – new and different places to shop for gifts and some fresh and special gift ideas.

I’ve shared a whole series on the blog with different unique gifts, and I’m going to cap it off with this roundup -15+ unique and special gifts that, when you give them, they mean something.

This is a fantastic way to commemorate a special event – anniversaries, births of children, engagements…a picture of the stars on the night of that special occasion, along with the location and GPS coordinates, is a perfect, unique gift!

3|Love Letter Blanket

I came across this while I was scrolling through Pinterest for blog post ideas, and I just fell IN LOVE.  This would so such a treasured gift to give (and one I would love receiving)! 

You can use your own handwriting or a handwriting font – but they will print your letter on a cozy blanket for a loved one.  Ahhh – I can think of so many occasions where giving this would be a tearjerker! Just love.

4| Essential Oil Gifts

I got into essential oils earlier this year when my son had major issues from being on too many antibiotics.  Since then, we’ve been using essential oils for just about everything, and it’s made a huge difference!

I’m a sucker for personalized gifts.  I love anything that has our names, where we live, important dates…it’s just so much more meaningful to me to give and get a gift like that.
