Free Spring Printables for the Win, for So Many Reasons

Boy, am I excited to get these in your hands today! As always with me, necessity seems to be the mother of invention. When it comes to decor, it’s either I can’t find what I’m looking for or what I found is too expensive!

So, these days, all that has necessitated me to create my decor, and to be honest, I’m loving it. Not that I don’t love what’s out there already, but there are few bonuses:

1| Cheaper. Just way, way, cheaper.

2| There’s a certain satisfaction you get with making decor with your own hands. When you look around your house and think, ‘Wow, I did that!’ – well, it’s a pretty cool feeling.

3| It’s so personal. Yes, you can buy what you see out there, but so is everyone else. When you make it yourself, it has your own personal spin on it – like your own trademark. You can be sure that no one else’s house will look quite like yours, and yours won’t look cookie-cutter, like everyone else’s.

And, I feel like farmhouse is like that sometimes: the decor world’s version of white noise.

Minimalist Farmhouse Spring Free Printables Back Story

So, for these designs – well, to be honest – I go for simple because my background is NOT in graphic design. But I know what I like, and what I like is not too busy. And thankfully, minimalist decor is sort of on-trend these days, so it’s not too hard to replicate.

As I looked through Hobby Lobby, Pinterest and Etsy for ideas, I saw lots of ‘He is Risen’ signs for Easter, which I love. Easter is all about the resurrection for me, although I have nothing against the Easter bunny. But I love it when I see decor that reflects that.

Anyway, as I saw these signs, ‘He is Risen,’ my mind immediately responded, (of course), ‘He is risen, indeed.’  And I just LOVED that sentiment for a sign.

So, that was my first one.

But me being me, just one isn’t good enough, so I had to come up with a few more to compliment it. I was going to make them all different styles, but I kind of liked the idea of being a uniform set, in case someone wants to display them together.

You’ll see the font is pretty simple and minimalist, but it has those clean farmhouse lines.

OK, so with this download, you’ll get all 4 designs, in two different sizes. You’ll get them in 4×4″ (the design is small enough that you could even fit it in a 3×3″ frame, too), if you wanted to use them as mini-signs around the house or perfect just for tier trays. My new favorite way to do mini-signs is to just buy wooden pictures at Hobby Lobby, Dollar Tree, Walmart- wherever – for a $1-2, and then cut the free printable to fit inside. You can just use painter’s tape to keep them in there and remove them when you’re done.

They also come in a bigger 8×8″.  The prints would also work fine in an 8×10″ frame as well, if you don’t have a square.

Bonus Free Spring ‘Dictionary’ Printable Variety

So, that print that has the definition of ‘spring’ in there? Well, I couldn’t really decide on the fonts. I wanted to keep it in the same family as the other prints, but to be honest, that wasn’t my favorite look. So, I included that same design in 4 other font styles. So if you don’t care about the prints all looking the same or if you only want to use that one, just pick your favorite!
