Rustic farmhouse decor is beautiful in any season, but it is especially spectacular in spring! If you are looking for ideas to add farmhouse spring decor to your home, here is inspiration that you don’t want to miss – for mantels, tabletops, entryways and dining areas!
Nothing Prettier than Rustic Farmhouse Spring Decor
Spring officially arrived last week, but I’m still waiting to see actual signs that she made it here safely.
Our 4th (and hopefully final) snow nor’easter blew through here on March 21, but the snow is already starting to melt, and temperatures are on the rise.
Finally, it is starting to feel a smidge like spring.
It feels a little weird decorating for spring when there’s still snow outside, but hopefully, that is all behind us now, and we can move on to all things pink, green, yellow, blue – any color besides ashy gray and brown!
So, spring. Home. Decorations. I’m always looking for new inspiration and ideas to move my house along to the next season.
Like any mom with no real-time on her hands but creeps on Pinterest to avoid cleaning the floors, I’ve been hunting for some new rustic farmhouse spring decor ideas. Pinterest, you did not disappoint!
A House Made Ready for Spring with Farmhouse Decor
What I’ve compiled in this post is ideas for all different areas of your house to spruce up with rustic decor – mantels, console tables, kitchen and dining areas, and entryways. These are the most visible rooms in your home, so it’s a great place to start.
{If you need a little tutorial on rustic decor and how to put that together, you can look at this post. It’s an overview of rustic decor as well as how to incorporate that into mantels, which is perfect for spring!}
The ideas here are so beautiful, and you will definitely notice some trends: flower pots, glass jars of all sizes, galvanized buckets, fresh flowers, wooden signs, chalkboards, items from nature…all in line with the farmhouse theme plus a touch of spring in the mix.
I’ve said it a million times – I love the rustic farmhouse look: it just exudes peace and tranquility, and it is such an inviting space for others, too.
So, take a look and start scrolling and get your farmhouse inspiration on. I’m certain you will find a look that you want to introduce into your home.
And once you have it, I’m pretty sure you know the way to Hobby Lobby, Amazon or Etsy from there, right?!? (Just in case, I’ve added a few links as bread crumbs to move you in the right direction! ๐
And if you’re on a tight budget, you can still get the look you want! I’ve put together some of my favorite ways to decorate a home when you’re on a tight budget!
And this post specifically shows how I decorated for Easter, which as a lot of spring touches, on a budget. Below are a few pictures to get you started!
But be sure to scroll SLOWLY and really soak in those details! And check out the original blogs, too! There are a ton more ideas on the site from where the picture originated!
And take good notes! (Sorry – just can’t get the teacher out of me!) ๐

Rustic Spring Mantels #1-7
I’m using mantels loosely, here.
These vignettes can be set up on tables and shelves as well! Any place you want to draw the eye and attention will work well, too!
(If you want to see an entire post with even MORE spring mantels – we are talking 30 of them, not shown here, come over to this post!)
Rustic Spring Console Tables #8- 15
Setting up a console table is a very similar process to setting up a mantel.
You’ll probably have a little more depth to work with so you can have some fun with using objects of different heights and widths to layer it up and adding some dimension to it!
Rustic Spring Kitchens #16-21
Kitchens are such a busy and functional space. The key for kitchen decor is to add interest and spring elements without it being distracting and annoying from what you really need to do in your kitchen!
But it’s possible! Take a look!
Rustic Spring Entry Ways #22-28
Entryways are such a fun space to decorate. It can be a little challenging because you’re typically working with a small area, and you usually need it to be a somewhat functional space for coats, shoes, or bags.
But you can definitely add spring to those practical, small spaces! Look below to see how it’s done!
** If you’re looking for spring porch ideas, take a look here!
This space has all the elements of rustic farmhouse decor.ย There's chippy paint, a repurposed window, fresh tulips, and jars with jute string.ย This is such a clean and crisp look, with a focus on flowers!ย The hydrangeas in clay rustic terra cotta pots as well as scaffolded on the stool and in front of the fireplace brings spring indoors! A wreath on a repurposed window is also another way to decorate where you can't go wrong.ย This is another very clean, very symmetrical look. The wildflower glass jar vases balance each side of the window, with a little more decor moving out to the edge. And, you'll see another repurposed window! I'm telling you, it's a win every time! I love the rustic garden look in this! A simple distressed chalkboard with some flowers in terra cotta pots is a soft, gentle look for a mantel! Lots of contrast in this mantel display! I love the dark shutter on top of the white distressed mantel, with white flowers and decor pieces! A very striking look! This is one of my favorites in the bunch! I just love those tall flowering branches with the distressed mirror! And the candles with candleholders and empty glass jars just make this perfect. If bursts of colors make you come alive in the spring, take a look here! This wildflower garden theme has all the elements of nature and new life coming together! Just soak in this mantel! I love the bright daffodils (which are real, by the way) and all the other spring blooms and greens going on this room. This is a neutral themed spring decor table decoration! All the rustic charm of baby's breath, thrift upcycles and a charming vintage feel! Mini wood crate DIY in this display, too! This is a very simple layout without a lot of clutter or busyness! It's perfect if you like a more minimalist farmhouse decor! And, you can see some more ideas for a mantel in the background! Bonus, lol. This is also another minimalist look, with just a few well-chosen items that really deliver a unifying effect! A lamp is always a great addition to a console table that's functional as well! I love the mix of clean table-top decor on a distressed table. This is a very bright and airy look! I love it! The mirror reflects some natural light, and the flowers add that spring-like burst of colors! And the repeating tulips tie it all together! And the decorations on the bottom shelf really push it over the top. As the name indicates, this has a very vintage, very rustic look.ย Lots of simple and unique antique type pieces really set this kind of look apart.ย Just shows that you can use very individual pieces that you love, so your space doesn't look so cookie-cutter. This is one of my favorite looks if you have the space for it! I LOVE the hanging flowers, and the garden decor right below it. It looks like you've brought the greenhouse right indoors, and look at those empty pots! SO easy to create a look like that! This is a beautiful table set up! Bre has it in her dining area, but you can use the many of the same elements to set up a console table as well! That dough bowl, though! If you love simplicity and function, check out this post with a beautiful, neutral-themed spring tablescape. Simple centerpiece and place settings that you can use in your everyday life! This beautiful spring centerpiece just shouts a country garden, with the flowers mixed with galvanized metal pieces.ย But it's so practical in a basket that can easily be removed when you need to use the table. Simple! And a cute printable on a clipboard included is a super-cute touch. Some jars filled with natural-fiber, color balls and some blooming branches is a simple design that is so striking! Again, another one that is easily removed for a functional counter space. Some well-placed spring blooms along with spring-colored pastel decor are really all you need to brighten up the kitchen for spring! And how cute is that stool?!? This kitchen has so many beautiful and cozy little spring vignettes. The hydrangeas are my favorite, but check out the rest of her display. How amazing is that tablescape? So beautiful, and I just love all the natural elements in there. This is styled perfectly. Your entryway can be a very simple display on a hookboard - especially if you like a more minimalist look. This is an easy DIY wreath for just a few dollars - add in a beaded garland, and you're good to go! I love the bright pops of colors in this entryway! The flowers, the scarf the bag...all of that works so perfectly to bring the cheer of spring! This set-up makes so much good use of a small space.ย By adding rustic coat hooks with a storage bench below, there's plenty of room to stay organized and look pretty. Adding some galvanized metal flower holders with flowers and greens makes all the difference for spring! A small, distressed rustic bench with a galvanized olive bucket with blooming branches is the perfect way to bring spring to that extra small space. The rain boots are a perfect and easy touch, too! A wreath, a burlap bag with greens and some greens in a planter are all you need to freshen up an entryway area! The botanical pillows also add a wonderful spring look. I love the rustic, casual feel of this entryway. You feel like a beautiful countryside is right on the other side of this door. A small, narrow bench in an entryway area is all you need to display a few items that make a huge impact for spring! Lanterns are great to use in any season for decor, and the ceramic planter with flowers add a burst of color!
