If you’re looking for the ultimate in fall snack foods, this recipe is it! Try this sweet and salty fall snack mix – it’s easy and great for last minute fall party food! But be warned! Once you start, it’s hard to stop!

The Easiest, Coziest Fall Snack You’ll Be Making on Repeat

I don’t know about you, but once September hits, I’m fully in “snack mix” mode. There’s nothing like that noshing once the cool weather starts to set in.

{Well, it’s still a few weeks out in Tennesse, but September will always be cool-weather-fall-vibes for this northern girl, even if it’s still 90 degrees! 🤪}

This Sweet & Salty Fall Snack Mix is one of my absolute favorites to throw together when I want to make a fall treat that feels a little extra special but takes almost zero effort.

{You can ask my dad about this – he literally couldn’t stop eating it.}

It’s perfect for movie nights, fall parties, or even just for a little afternoon pick-me-up with a cup of coffee.

I also love how pretty it looks with all the festive colors! I’ll take any excuse to break out the fall sprinkles!

Ingredients You’ll Need

Here’s what goes into this snack mix. Nothing fancy — just good, classic, cozy ingredients.

  • 2 cups air-popped popcorn

  • 2 cups cinnamon multi-grain cereal squares

  • 2 cups pretzels

  • ½ cup cashews (or peanuts if you prefer)

  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • Jar of fall-themed sprinkles

Instructions

It honestly couldn’t be easier. Here’s how I do it:

1| Combine the Crunchies

Mix together your popcorn, pretzels, cereal squares, cashews, and Reese’s Pieces in a big bowl. Then spread it all out evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

2| Melt the Chocolate

Melt your white chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each round until it’s silky smooth. Stir in the coconut oil to help it drizzle a little easier.

3| Drizzle It On

Scoop your melted chocolate into a zip-lock bag and snip a tiny piece off the corner. Then drizzle that melty goodness all over your snack mix. No bag? A spoon works just fine too!

4| Add the Fall Sprinkles

Before the chocolate sets, go ahead and sprinkle on those fall-themed sprinkles. Add as much or as little as your heart desires — this is the fun part!

5| Let It Set

Let the chocolate firm up completely (this is the hardest part: waiting!). Once it’s set, break everything apart and give it a gentle toss to mix.

6| Serve & Enjoy

Pour it into a cute bowl, share with friends (or not), and enjoy every sweet, salty, crunchy bite.

Why I Love This Snack Mix

There are many reasons I love this recipe, but here are a few:

  • Quick & Easy: No baking, no complicated steps. You can even let the kids help!

  • Customizable: Swap out the nuts, candy, or even the cereal if you want.

  • Perfect for Sharing: It’s a guaranteed hit at gatherings or just for family movie night.

  • Charcuterie Board Friendly: It’s a great way to add a small homemade fall treat to an autumn grazing board!

Bonus Tip!

This also makes a super cute gift! Just package it up in clear treat bags tied with some fall ribbon and a cute treat tag, and you’ve got a thoughtful little something for neighbors, teachers, or friends.
