Gifts in a Jar – The Really Perfect Gift Idea
So let’s talk about mason jar Christmas gifts. There is everything to love about them. I’ll go first.
They’re versatile.
Whatever your gift recipient happens to love, you can probably shove it in a mason jar.
They’re trendy.
You know, the whole Fixer-Upper-Joanna-Gaines-Farmhouse thing. Now you’ve given your friend a stylish decorative vase to put flowers in as well as a trendy glass to sip lemonade out of – on top of all the goodies inside. Go, you.
They’re inexpensive.
You can buy all your items in bulk and create several gifts for just a few dollars each. Very easy on your budget!
And, I often save all kinds of jars – spaghetti sauce, salsa jars, coconut oil jars, pesto jars… really anything, and any size! Keep stocking up those jars and you can save a little money!
They’re easy.
You do not have to be a DIY genius to put these together (thank the Good Lord). You can make them as simple or complex as you like, depending on your crafting acumen. These are perfect for last-minute gifts as well.
They work for everyone.
No matter who you need to gift – friend, coworker, neighbor, acquaintance, teacher, service workers… there is a gift in a jar idea that would be perfect for them!
Have I convinced you yet?!? Take a look at what we’ve got going on here – lots of fun, creative and unique gifts- both food and non-food gift ideas to choose from.

I love all of the ideas, but the links to instructions don’t work. I would love to make some of these as gifts for friends ( I usually make Christmas gifts for a group of friends that I sing with, and they love homemade gifts!)
Kate says
All of the links should be in working order, Kathy! I’m so sorry you’re having trouble. Sometimes looking on a mobile vs desktop can be the issue. Sometimes it’s the ‘continue reading’ button that can be glitchy. But if you click the title or the image, you should be able to be redirected! Let me know if that works for you!
