Looking for some light reading and visual inspiration for Christmas? Here’s my annual home tour, in rustic farmhouse style in 2022! Enjoy!
Christmas Decor Inspiration in Pictures (Rather than Words)
Sometimes we all just need some light scrolling with only a little reading. Yup, I like to throw some pictures on and let them speak for themselves.
That’s what I’m going to do today… just share some photos of my home, with explanation and/or links if needed!
My Christmas Home Decor Style in 2022
For the past few years, I’ve gone all out with white, green, black, and wood. To be honest, I’ve really loved that look.
I rarely have used red, but it was just as festive – and easy to transition to winter decor.
This year, I strayed from that and added in more traditional rustic decor rather than modern farmhouse – Christmas plaids, traditional reds and greens.
I was going for a cozy, homey vibe, and I hope I accomplished that. For now, take a look and enjoy! I’d love to hear what you think!
It definitely is a very cozy rustic look, and I’ve had fun trying something new. All that to say, who knows where I’ll end up next year, but I see some changes coming.

Come on in!
Front Porch
This year, I moved a Christmas tree to the front porch – a themed tree with ornaments of the names of Jesus.
{FYI: That NOEL sign was one of my very first DIY projects – still going strong with my Christmas porch decor! It’s actually made from a piece of the fence from our 1st hhouse in NY – sentimental value as well. And that’s just fine for decor!}
I’ve used this wreath for a few years now, too. It’s a plain Jane I got on clearance, which I just add a little winter bling to!
This is a staple on the porch – I just change out the embellishments. The window is from NY also, so this one stays, too!
Entry Way Walls
The vase is a upcycled thrifted DIY with paint and baking soda. It’s perfect for every season!
The sign is updated from this one I’ve used for years. I needed just a little more color, especially with white walls.
The candle is another easy Christmas DIY!
The blanket from Target’s Hearth and Hand added all the rustic cozy charm for Christmas.
You can see above that I switched out the wreath – this was another beauty I found at Target!
Living Room
We are transplants in Tennessee from NY, and this Tender Tennessee Christmas Sign has my heart. Always. It goes up every year.
Those are gift bags in those frames! It’s one of my favorite things to put out each year. Cheap and easy!
Dollar Tree candles, but I LOVE the pattern!
Easy, charming applesauce cinnamon ornaments! I love the nostalgic feel of them!
Another DIY! Upcycled sweaters on Dollar Tree ornaments!
Dining Area
Easy hack for napkin rings – a pack of jingle bell ornaments!
{Here’s another way I used the scarf on the table.}
The wood beaded tray is another DIY! The jar is a reused apple cider container.
Kitchen Area
The sign on the wall is a DIY with a kitchen towel! Another easy and cheap decor piece that you can do for any season!
Christmas tiered tray decorating hack: Christmas ornaments look adorable and are just the right size!
Fireplace Room with Mantel
The sign is printable wall art! It’s one of my favorite ways to decorate!
I updated a few things on the mantel (candles, painted the deer)… still waiting on the bells, lol.
I hope my Christmas home tour has given you some decorating ideas you can use in your own home!
