Easy Free Printable Flower Wraps for Thank You Gifts
Are you looking for a sweet way to say thank you? A way to stretch a bouquet of flowers for several recipients? These printable flower wraps are adorable and perfect for a last-minute thank you gift idea. Perfect for coworkers, teachers, volunteers – anyone you want to thank! Christian version with Bible verse also available!
A Simple Heart-Felt Thank You
If you really think about it, there are probably lots of people in our lives we could thank: teachers, bus drivers, church volunteers, coworkers.
I think it’s important to appreciate those who have worked hard for us or gone out of their way to make our lives easier. And a gesture to repay them with a small act of kindness that shows God’s love as well.
It can be hard to think of a small thank you gift without feeling like it’s cheap or not enough.
Today I want to share an idea that I think is budget-friendly, but also thoughtful and meaningful, too.
Why Gift Flowers as a Thank You?
I personally think flowers are the perfect gift!
As a woman, there is something inherently charming about receiving flowers – from anyone! I’m not sure if it’s because they come from nature or because they are delicate and feminine… but to me, it’s always the sweetest gesture.
A small bouquet of flowers is perfect for teachers, neighbors, church volunteers, coworkers, family or friends – anyone who has helped or encouraged you.
If you’d like to give flowers, but level it up a little bit – you can present the flowers in these super-cute printable flower wraps.
Not only is it great for a last-minute gift (that doesn’t look last minute), but you can even stretch a grocery-store bouquet to a few recipients, making it budget-friendly!
Flowers are low-cost but a thoughtful and meaningful gift.
The Power of a Pretty Presentation
There is nothing wrong with gifting flowers in the wrap they come in (price tag removed, of course, lol) or placing them in a mason jar. They will be appreciated no matter what.
But leveling up the packaging just a little bit can turn a check-out line bouquet into something a little bit more special.
Using a wrap shows that you put a little extra thought, effort, and preparation into store-bought or garden-cut flowers.
There’s nothing wrong with grabbing flowers on the way to where you’re going, but a printable flower wrap is proof that you took some time to think of the gift.
Free Printable Flower Wraps
Today I’m offering printable flower wraps for free! There are 2 different designs.
Corner to corner, the wraps measure about 11″ and top to bottom is about 6.5″.
Minimalist Watercolor Design
This is simple design if you want a burst of color while allowing the flowers to take center stage.
It’s a has a little more of a modern flair.
Floral Background Design
This one has a little more going on with a soft and pale floral pattern in the background. The floral print is subtle, and it has more of a feminine, farmhouse feel.
Bible Verse Option
Each of those designs has a Bible verse option:
Phil. 1:3 – “I thank my God every time I remember you.”
Because of space, I didn’t write out the entire verse, just the reference. But it’s a chance for them get their hands on a Bible and look it up.
And it communicates that the gift is coming from a believer, in Jesus’ name.
So let’s talk about how to put these together.
Materials and Instructions for Flower Wraps
Flower Bouquet
Printable Wraps (get them below)
Cardstock
Scissors
Hot Glue (Recommended) or Clear Tape
Ribbon (optional)
Paper Towel
Small Plastic Snack Bag
Rubber Band
Tissue Paper or Florist Tissue Paper (optional)
Instructions
1| Grab free download and print wraps of your choice on cardstock. Be sure your printer is set to print actual size, not ‘shrink to fit.’
2| Cut wrap out just inside the black lines.
3| Roll wrap and tape or glue seams closed, making sure it looks the way you’d like to from the front view.
***Be aware that the wider you make the top of your cone, the more flowers you’ll need to fill it!
I preferred hot glue, just because it is stronger. There’s a chance that tape on its own might not be strong enough. But you can try scotch tape or double-sided tape if you don’t want the tape to be seen.
4| If you’d like to add a hanging ribbon, punch two holes in the back half of the cone. I used a skewer because the hole from a hole puncher might be too big!
Weave a ribbon from the inside to the back and then back inside the cone. Tie off ribbons with knots to create a hanger.
5 | Lay your flowers next to the cone to decipher the correct length. For these cones, about 7″ seemed to be a good length where the bouquet will peak out of the top of the cone.
For the bouquet in the pictures, I used about 6 stems (I’ll show you a hack a little later if you want to use less flowers per bouquet!).
6| Lay the flowers on a damp paper towel, about halfway down. Then fold the paper towel up over the stems and wrap tightly.
7| Cut the top off of a small ziplock bag and wrap around the paper towels to protect the wrap from water. Secure the paper towels and plastic bags.
8| Place flowers inside cones and give to recipient with love!
***Assembly tip: If you don’t have enough flowers to create a bouquet that looks full enough for your flower wrap, you can add florist tissue paper or regular tissue paper to ‘fluff’ it up and fill it out a little!
Bonus Hacks for a Flower Wrap (Non-Thank-You Option)
If you have someone you’d like to give flowers to but it’s not necessarily a thank you gift, here’s a bonus hack!
Trace the Template on Scrapbook Paper or Cardstock
Print out the template above and trace the floral wrap cone on a piece of scrapbook paper or cardstock.
Then, just follow the above steps.
Here’s what it looks like with some pretty green scrapbook paper.
Be aware that while the scrapbook paper looks pretty, it’s not as sturdy as cardstock. You wouldn’t be able to add a hanger to this option.
Square Paper Option (Higher Back)
If you don’t have access to a printer or want to create a floral cone with a higher back, you just need a square piece of paper – either scrapbook (which is a square) or cardstock.
If you’re using a piece of 8.5×11″ cardstock, fold one corner across to the opposite edge, creating a square.
Then, trim off the extra paper and lay flay like a diamond.
Fold the corners of the bottom half in to create a cone shape with a higher back portion and glue. Add a ribbon hanger if you’d like.
They look just as beautiful!
***Be aware that using when using this method, the seam will be in the front instead of the back.
Free Thank You Tags
As you can see in the picture above, you can also add tags to a plain flower wrap that doesn’t have ‘thank you’ written on it, like the ones in today’s post.
To get tags that say, ‘Thank You for Helping Me Bloom’, you can head to this post where these tags are offered!
If you liked the designs of these cones but want more flexibility in the paper you use to wrap the bouquet, I created coordinating tags to use with or without these particular wraps.
When you download the floral wraps, you’ll also get these tags!
There are 2 pages of tags – one page with the Bible verse (6 of each design) and one page without.
They are designed to be cut out as square tags or to be used with a 2″ circle punch. I like to use this small paper trimmer to get nice, straight lines as well.
I didn’t include circle cut lines, so you have the option of using them either way.
And I personally find it difficult to get the cut exactly on the lines, so if you run into that issue too – problem solved!
The ribbons do slip a little bit, so I used a dab of glue on the back and a little on the front to secure the ribbon.
You can get these tags by filling out the box at the END of the post!
Below, you can see all the options together to help you make your choice!
Ways to Use These Flower Wraps
As I said, I think they are lovely for anyone! But here are other ideas beyond what first comes to mind!
And like I said, if a ‘thank you’ isn’t appropriate for the gift, use the scrapbook or cardstock paper hack!
Hostess gift for a dinner party
Random acts of kindness to spread joy
Hospital staff or caregivers
Office staff at a school

It’s never a waste to think of others and share God’s love with them from a generous heart. Proverbs 11:25 says, A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
Continue to use your hands, your home, and all you’ve been blessed with, big or small, to be a blessing to others!
A simple gift, even something like a small flower bouquet, can make a big difference. Just reminding them that they are thought of and appreciated can truly leave a lasting impact on their heart.

I have tried to download the cone flower wrappers three times. It opens but doesn’t even show the shape for the cones. I can only see Phil. 1:3 and thank you.
Hi Jan!
I just tested the sign-up and the download and it’s working properly. Maybe you need to clear your cache for the download to load properly? Either way, I’ll email the file to the address you used for this comment. I’m sorry you had trouble!
I love this post! Any idea why the lines and flowers aren’t showing up when I download?
Thank you!
