Are you looking for ways to celebrate a Christ-centered Christmas around your home – and keep the little ones engaged, too? Keep reading for 65 nativity activities and crafts – for the littles, the bigs, and even the parents, too.
The First Christmas Story, Front and Center
Making Christmas all about Jesus has been a joy (and a challenge at times) in our home. It can feel like an uphill struggle, with the focus on commercialism and Santa and all the other things, which may be innocent and good also.
But if they shove Jesus to the side, well, something needs to shift.
So today, I want to share with you some activities you can do in your home all season long to keep Jesus front and center.

Nativity Activities and Crafts: What’s Included
You’ll see a variety in this roundup: crafts and coloring pages for the little kids, art project that are designed for the bigger kids, Advent activities for the whole family, as well as Christ-centered DIY Christmas decor that mom can make.
Many of these activities are also great for preschool, Sunday school, a Christian school or homeschool, or an afternoon with the grandparents, too!
I have loosely grouped them by age-appropriateness. Obviously, there is some overlapping because with small adaptations, many projects can be for all ages.
But you’ll see that they increase in maturity as the list goes on.
Some are simple enough for the littles, but they might need help for certain parts from parents or older siblings.
The arrangement is something like this:
