An Inviting Thanksgiving Table that Says, ‘I’m Glad You’re Here’
I probably say this about every holiday, but Thanksgiving is one my favorites.
I love that there is minimal commercialism surrounding it, and at its foundation, it’s about being grateful for what you have, not needing or wanting more.
It’s about family, friends – and in our family growing up, it was about inviting the stranger in. We never knew who would end up at our Thanksgiving table.
And while Thanksgiving is a something of a food-centric holiday (and I’m not mad about it), you need a table to gather around and bring everyone together. If you have your family gathered around a table, or your bonus family for a Friendsgiving gathering, I love what the table symbolizes.
And that’s what we’ll talk about today!
