12 Days of Christmas, Day #8 – Christmas Candy Recipes & Gifts

Sharing is caring!

Hey y’all!

We’re back again for Day #8 of the 12 Days of Christmas!

I genuinely appreciate you being along for the ride, and I really hope you’re getting lots of useful ideas for your Christmas planning.

Today I want to talk about a different category of DIY gifts – Christmas candy.

For me, while it does technically fall under the ‘bulk gift’ category I shared yesterday, I think candy is a different skillset rather than putting together a homemade gift or ‘assembly line’ type craft.

And I think making Christmas candy is even different than baking cookies { that’s coming, too, though 😉 }

And I’ll be super-honest here – I’m not a pro in the kitchen. So my goal is always to share easy stuff, especially for those who aren’t naturals in the kitchen. And, especially for those who have a lot going on and need to be efficient with their time.

I’m going to share one very easy Christmas candy gift I made and then link you up to the over 50 different Christmas candy ideas.

Yes, you can absolutely make these candy for your family or for a party and do not have to gift it. But all of these recipes are suitable for gifting (e.g. they do not need to be refrigerated, etc.).

And, all of these are specifically Christmas themed, so they are super cute and festive to gift!

Some do require more skill than others, but there are lots that are super-easy too.

OK, let me share the one I created.

Coconut Ball Snowcones

The recipe for this is just 2 ingredients (coconut and sweetened condensed milk); that’s it. I told you I like easy, right?!?

There are options to fancy it up a little, with some almond bark and sprinkles at the top of the cone with a Christmas paper wrap.

But at the bare minimum, you can place the snowballs in a sugar cone, wrap in cellophane, and add a fun tag. And that’s totally acceptable (and adorable!) for a Christmas gift, especially if you’re short on time and don’t want to complicate things.

One batch of snowballs goes a long way, so you can really create a lot of gifts for literally just a few dollars.

Did I mention there are free tags?

Yep, you get 2 different options of a punny saying to add with the ‘snowcones’:

‘Thank You Snow Much’ – you know, for teachers, coaches, and those you want to thank.

Wishing You Snow Much Fun This Christmas!’  – that one is good for neighbors, coworkers, even as a Christmas party favor.

There are square and circle options, as well as different colors (and an option that doesn’t use a lot of printer ink!).

The circles are also sized to be used with printable Avery labels to make stickers.

So check out the post to get the details and how you can fancy up both the cone and the wrapping if you want to!
