Sharing is caring!

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Tour! I hope you’ll find lots of free, easy Christmas inspiration including decor, DIYs, homemade gift ideas, and entertaining ideas!

The Origin of the 12 Days of Christmas Tour

This tour is a crazy idea I had when I was in the shower this morning.

Let me explain why this is crazy – the idea itself isn’t crazy; doing it right now is the crazy part.

We have had our house in chaos for over 6 months due to a kitchen reno gone wrong. It’s been living in sheer mayhem here for months.

Thankfully, it should be resolved this weekend, which is also the weekend before Thanksgiving.

So deciding to do something like this, in the middle of this mess, days before Thanksgiving, something I’m kicking off just a few hours after I decided to do it… well, fingers crossed I can pull this off!

The reason I wanted to do this is because I’ve been creating a lot of Christmas content that I hope will be helpful, but I’ve been awful about sharing it (see above reasons!).

Another reason I wanted to do this is that I’ve so over being in a bad mood over this house debacle – I just want to proactively get in the Christmas spirit and spread Christmas cheer!

So, after that long intro, let’s get to Day 1.

Day #1: Cozy Cottage Christmas Decorating Ideas & Crafts

These are ideas that I’ve done in my own home that are simple Christmas DIYs that evoke a cozy, nostalgic, old-fashioned Christmas vibe. These aren’t new ideas (don’t worry – new decorating ideas are coming!), but since decorating usually happens high up on the Christmas task list, I wanted to share these at the start!

These are all easy, homemade cottage-y Christmas decorating ideas and crafts – 25 in all!

Let me give you a preview of some of the crafts and decor ideas you’ll find:
