Are piles of Christmas cards taking up valuable real estate in your house? Here are 21 super-cute DIY Christmas Card Display Holders – the perfect way to display meaningful cards in a stylish, festive way!
The Christmas Card Conundrum: Every. Single. Year.
Every year, it’s on my Christmas to-do list, and every year, it falls to the bottom of the list and never gets done. Not this year, Christmas. It’s getting done.
I’m talking about Christmas cards. No, not my own – I’ve written off tackling that task until my boys are of an age where I am not struggling to get them to:
A. Stop moving.
B. Look at the camera.
C. Smile.
D. Quit the tantrum.
So. Not. Worth. It.
(And to be honest, I wonder if sending Christmas cards is something I’m even going to do – ever? I talk about my reasons here).
But I’m talking about the mountains of cards I get, that end up just making piles on my counter. On a good year, I’ll go all-out and tape them to the back of the front door. Classy, right?
Stylish Christmas Card Display Ideas and Holders
The first batch has already come in (over-achievers ๐ ) and, this year, I’m trying to get my act together and come up with something better to display all these Christmas cards.
Thankfully, there are crafty women out there who DO have their acts together and came up with some fantastic ideas for Christmas card display holders. I’ll be honest – some are beyond my energy and skill level. But some are super-easy and super-cute.
I’ve included both kinds – take your pick. Full disclosure: I’ll be taking the easy way out. No shame here.
Christmas Card Holder = Multi-Purpose Christmas Decor
One thing I really love about the whole idea of displaying Christmas cards is that it can double as Christmas decor. If you can put together a little creativity, you can cover a lot of ground displaying Christmas cards, which look amazing and it’s one of the best ways to decorate your house for Christmas with cheap decor. Win-win.
Advent calendars also accomplish the same thing – purposeful, multi-functional decor.
(And if you’re the DIY type, here are more DIY Christmas decor projects you can make to also save you a bit of cash this season!)
