But it’s usually the issue of my energy and time when it comes to crafts.
I genuinely love the creative process of coming up with a craft or following a tutorial. But sometimes, I don’t have the energy to gather the supplies, prep the materials.
Sometimes I just want it all handed to me so I can easily make the craft and enjoy creating.
If that’s you, too – keep reading! This Bird and Bloom Garland from Crafted by Concord and 9th created an unbelievably enjoyable experience – it scratched my crafting itch, but also made is so simple so I wasn’t frustrated in the prep stage before I even could start.

I started making crafting some of my Sunday Sabbath practices – an easy way for me to decompress from the week, put on some worship music while my sons and husband are watching Nascar (loudly) in the other room, and enjoy something I love to do.
This DIY bird and bloom paper flower garland kit made it so easy for me to do all of the above without having to expend energy. I could solely enjoy creating without having to frontload energy expenditure in the preparation stage.
And, the craft was easy enough where I could be somewhat mindless, as it was all laid out for me. And the end result was pretty spring decor that can fit into a range home decor styles – from cottagecore to whimsical to farmhouse.
So let me share the run-down of how these boxes work and why I think it’s such an amazing choice.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX
Everything you need comes inside the kit. I mean, everything – even down to the tiny tubes of glue. And it’s packaged beautifully.
Below, you can see everything that came in the box – clearly labeled and separated.
There’s a card in the box that has a QR code on the back so you can access the directions. The instructions are in both written and video form.
I love that both were included. Sometimes, I just needed to read it. But other times, when it was a little fuzzy to my brain, and I went to the video, which illustrated it perfectly.

THE CRAFT EXPERIENCE
The kit calls itself beginner-friendly, and it certainly was. The steps were so easy to follow. Each part of the craft is created separately, and then the instructions guide you on how to put it together. They literally spell out every single part.
Here are the birds all assembled.
Here are the flowers – materials, then assembled.
And here is the entire garland, right before I hung it up.
The whole project came together in about 30 minutes or so! The only problem I had was making certain that the birds were facing the right direction when I threaded them through.
One thing I didn’t expect was how elegant the end result would be! I honestly didn’t have super high expectations for the ‘classy-ness’ of a paper craft project, but this really proved me wrong. It’s whimsical and lovely at the same time – which is exactly the vibe I think spring should have.
My one tip if you make this to make sure you lay out your garland ahead of time before threading it. Be sure the birds are facing the right way and that you alternate colors of flowers in between. It’s easy to lose track of where you are when you’re just grabbing and threading.
THE FINISHED PIECE
Hung up and styled, the garland added such a brightness to my typically neutral spring decor. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about those pops of color that are not usually my vibe, but I loved how cheerful it felt. Perfect for spring, really!
I put mine on my mantel and I added the other In Bloom crafts to it. I love, love, love the cohesive look to it!
THE VERDICT
I definitely would recommend this Bird and Bloom Paper Flower Garland craft kit! Here are my final recommendations. This craft kit is best for someone who:
