A Heart for Giving (But Lacking in Time and Money)

When Christmas rolls around, I feel like I just want to do something nice for everyone. I mean, everyone.

Maybe it’s just the Christmas spirit. Maybe it’s really supreme gratitude for Jesus being born that puts generosity on overdrive in my heart.

But the holiday season is sooo busy. And funds just seem to fly out the window.

But still.

I still really want to do something.

I really think bulk gifts are the perfect solution.

Small Christmas Gifts in Bulk: A Winner All Around

The idea of bulk gifts is that you create one large ‘batch’ of whatever you’re making or gifting and divvy it up among several recipients – like coworkers, neighbors, small group members. Or maybe office or staff gifts.

It not only cuts down the cost, but it usually comes together assembly-line style in one or 2 evenings, depending on the project. So, you’re able to blast through it fairly quickly.

These gift ideas are ideal for anyone you truly want to bless with kindness and show appreciation to, but maybe they are in one of the ‘outer’ rings of your social circle. Not close enough that you’d necessarily buy an individual gift for, but someone who means a lot to you, all the same.

Or maybe you have lots of people you need to gift at once – like coworkers or teachers or staff members or neighbors or ladies’ Bible study members. By creating the same gift for all of them, it cuts down on not only time and money, but on the decision fatigue of what to buy or make.

Any of these gifts you see below would be great for anyone is those ‘special but slightly outer ring’ categories.

OK, let’s get to the inspiration! Several of these ideas are ones I’ve created and gifted myself and are proven winners!
