Filling the Space Between Christmas and Spring
By the time January rolls around, the winter ‘blahs’ have started to slowly set in. Christmas was such a fun time, New Year’s begins with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm…but it’s not long before January starts to feel a little… dull, maybe?
While I really do like the slower pace of January, by the second week or so, I start to get a little antsy.
It’s a touch too early for spring projects, but my creativity needs some kind of outlet.
That’s where winter art projects come in. They’re a creative outlet for my brain, while giving my hands something to keep them busy when I need something not too mentally taxing.
And usually, I end up with some cute winter DIY decor to boot.

Over the years, I’ve found that the best activities for adults are art projects that aren’t too involved, can be done in one sitting, and you get immediate gratification. 😂
These easy winter crafts and January crafts are the kind of projects for adults that you can work on with a cup of coffee, a good playlist or movie in the background, and no pressure to rush.
If you’re drawn to a cozy winter DIY that you can display or maybe just a small winter project to pass the time or maybe even a creative reset after you’ve recharged from the depleting Christmas season, these ideas might be just what you need!
Let’s take a look!
