Easy Red, White and Blue Treats

One thing I’ve learned since becoming a mom of twin boy toddlers is that you take advantage of any hack that you can find.  Finding ways to simplify is a time and sanity saver. Since I’m not exactly Rachael Ray in the kitchen, cooking, and baking hacks are my absolute favorite. When you have a busy, active family, there’s not always a lot of time to whip up these cute meals and desserts you see on Pinterest.

Today, if you need easy recipes to make for a Memorial Day or Independence Day BBQ – that doesn’t require you to turn on the oven – I’ve got you covered.

The days between Memorial Day and 4th of July are all things red, white, and blue.  There are so many fun options for a festive dessert.  There are loads that you can also make in the oven, but today I’m all about the hacks, especially when your Fourth of July celebration is on a hot day, which it almost always is!

None of these patriotic recipes require baking, and many are just a red, white, and blue twist on an already easy dessert.  Many are contain fresh fruit, so at least you can throw in a little bit of healthiness in the mix of all the celebrating.

If you are hosting a 4th of July BBQ or attending one, these no-bake patriotic desserts will definitely be a hit.  There are great options for the kids as well – and many are so easy that you can probably even whip up more than one simple dessert if you are feeling ambitious!
