Easter Centerpieces DIY for a Festive Table All Season

I have really come to love the idea of a simple centerpiece. While I really do love creating tablescapes, a centerpiece is just a whole lot more practical for my family. We homeschool our 2 sons, and the dining table is a pretty high-traffic area.

When I create a tablescape, usually, everything ends up piled at one end so we can use the table. However, a centerpiece doesn’t take up much space yet keeps things pretty as well as functional.

Easter is a great time to experiment with a DIY centerpiece if you haven’t before. Personally, I love the creative outlet, and if you do it right, it shouldn’t take up too much space on your table.

You don’t need to be hosting Easter brunch or dinner to create a homemade Easter centerpiece. It really is a gorgeous seasonal touch, especially if you like a bit of hygge in your home. Since we spend so much time at the time, I really like to have at least that area decorated for Easter.

And a lot of times, you can modify it to transition to spring (or vice versa).

That includes not only different decor styles and themes, as you’ll see below, but what kind of color palette you want – bright and vibrant, soft pastels, or neutral.

You should also think about the vibe – whimsical, elegant, cozy, minimalist – just to name a few!

40+ Easter Centerpieces DIY Projects to Level Up Your Dining Table

I hope you found some Easter centerpiece crafts that you love! As you getting ready to create your centerpiece, here are a few styling tips to keep in mind, that will make it unique and all your own.

Tips for Styling Your Easter Centerpiece

Here are a few things to remember when you’re creating your centerpiece for Easter, especially if you’re creating more of a vignette on your table vs. just a single item:

  • Start with your anchor piece or your focal point for the centerpiece
  • Layer items with different heights and sizes (tall, medium, small), adding depth and visual interest
  • Keep things balanced to create visual weight – spread out your decor evenly
  • Use a color palette and style that complements your other Easter decor and home aesthetic (though a table is a small enough area that you can definitely break free and change it up!)
