The Growing Need for Christian Crafts

As someone who’s been a creator for the internet and Pinterest for close to 10 years now, I’ve noticed a growing trend lately: Christian ladies are looking for creative outlets that center around their faith.

And I couldn’t be happier about it.

The downside of that is that when I try to find creative Christian craft ideas myself, there isn’t a whole lot out there. Recently, God has put that passion in my heart to put my energy toward that end – creative projects for Christian women that honor the Lord.

The very first verb in the Bible is “created.” Before He is called Savior, Shepherd, or Redeemer, we’re introduced to God as Creator. As humans made in His image, creating is in our very DNA.

I don’t think it’s an accident that so many of us find joy in creating beautiful things. What better way to express it than to create pieces that honor Him?

That can be an arts and craft project. A junk journal or mixed media faith journal. A homemade Christian gift. Scripture wall art. A Bible study craft for women. A keepsake or favor for a women’s ministry event or a ladies’ retreat.
