30+ Fabulous DIY Summer Centerpieces
Are you looking to spruce up your summer table but don’t want to create a full-on tablescape? A summer DIY centerpiece is just the thing! Come see these beautiful creations you can try this season!
Summer Decorations for the Home, Right on Your Table
I’m not always one to go all out decorating for the summer. Once my house is decorated for the spring, I’m usually like, ‘Eh, that’s close enough.’
However, for some reason, if the dining table has something fresh and summery, it feels like I’ve changed things up.
So while I don’t always like to do a full summer tablescape unless I’m having a get-together, I do like to freshen up the dining table.
My Personal Preference for a Summer Table Centerpiece
All year, but especially during the summer, we are home a lot, and our dining table gets a lot of use.
When I’m thinking of a DIY centerpiece, I usually like to check a few boxes:
1| It works with a functional table
The decorations aren’t so elaborate that it’s a hassle to actually use your table because they get in the way!
2| It’s easy to move if needed
If a centerpiece I love is a little more overbearing, then at least it has to be something that is easy to move if we need the space.
3| It’s low profile or not overpowering
Generally, I try to keep things with a semi-low profile, so we can see each other while we’re eating.
If it’s a little taller, see #2!
If you have a table that gets a lot of use and you aren’t having guests, that’s what I suggest.
However, if you really just love to decorate or you’re having company, those things need not apply!
OK, so let’s get on to these easy DIY centerpieces for summer – pretty as they are simple!
